First Time Pass - I passed first time with Les a couple of weeks ago with 4 or 5 minors. Started learning in November. Great instructor, he made what could have been a really stressful experience into something to look forwards to every week. This guy really knows what he's talking about. Probably the best instructor in Bristol. I enjoy driving and plan to do my pass-plus with him in the near future.

Les earnt me my freedom! - Wow, what can I say. After the exhilaration of passing yesterday its time for some feedback. Great Instructor, Great Guy! - I was really nervous about learning to drive after having put it off for 3 years and being worried that I wouldn't be good enough. A fly in the ointment! - I found Les via this site# reading the reviews I was a bit sceptical at 1st. Surely no one is that good? Figuring I had nothing to lose I gave Les a call. Les is a pure genius - seriously! Even though I failed my 1st test (ARGH!) I took it on the chin & passed my 2nd test a few weeks later. Best driving instructor ever! - After failing 5 times I thought I would never be able to do it but then I found Les Johnson. Fantastic Driving Instructor - I have never heard of any other driving instructor who is as committed as Les. He took my test to be his personal mission and seemed more nervous than me on the day. Les' school of motoring - I had my provisional license for 7 years and was too nervous to learn to drive. I started learning with Les and just a few months later, I passed my driving test first time. lessons for continental drivers - I have driven in Europe for the last 10 years, and could not figure out how to adapt to drive "on the other side". I had 9 classes with Les, he gave me the confidence I needed and also polished some driving defects I had acquired over the years. The Pass Plus course is great for tips on more advanced driving and especially getting onto a motorway for the first time. Les's School of Motoring - I took my driving test no less than six times with various instructors from a well-known school, with no success. I switched to Les after a long break and after 20 hours with him I got a respectable pass on my first attempt. Les taught me techniques I hadn't heard about anywhere else, instilled a sense of confidence, and really knows what his pupils need. Learn with Les- he will get you a pass.

Motorway genius - Without Les I would always have been the timid and annoying person crawling along in the slow lane of the motorway. 1ST TIME PASS - I would without a doubt recommend Les to teach you. I had 20 lessons with another instructor previous to Les and he was nowhere near up to his standard. Pass Plus - I honestly believe that no driver should be allowed a full license without completing pass plus. The motorway tuition is invaluable - it is nothing like the driving you will have experienced before. Having a calm and highly competent driver with you to teach you the ropes is completely vital. Les has a very good sense of humour and will not charge a penny more than needed. Strongly recommended.

I suffered from a lack of confidence and had failed a previous test, but a few hours with Les and I finally passed. just passed! - Passed my test today with only two minors,ive only got Les to thank for this as i previously had another instructor who was nowhere near as professional as Les who got me through my test after just 20 hours!! I would recommend Les to anyone who is lookin for an excellent instructor who is NEVER late and lets you down! His car is ALWAYS immaculate! Thanks again.

His good sense of humour put a fun element into the lessons. He requires perfection but is able to get the best out of each pupil in a professional way. Refresher course - I've just finished a refresher course with Les, to ease me back into driving after a 10-year gap. I'm so glad I did the course, as apart from being very rusty I'd done very little city driving before, and had never been on a motorway - this has completely boosted my confidence to start driving again. Thanks Les, for being so patient and encouraging!

Just passed!!! - With a massive thanks to Les i passed my test first time 2day with only 3 minors! I was so nervous when starting my lessons but Les has a great approach to teaching nervous people and really makes you feel at ease.His car is always spotless and he is always on time!he is a great guy with a wicked sense of humour which always makes you feel relaxed!very highly recommended,just so professional!!

Best instuctor ever - Les is an amazing teacher. i should know...Iid had 7 when I came to him, and had failed my test four times. After only a few weeks with Les I passed. When I first read the reviews on this site I thought he must have been paying pupils to write them but he really is that good! My major problem was nerves but Les calmed me down and gave me the confidence and the skills to pass!

Originally dodgey driver! - Les was the first driving instructor i went to when i turnt 17. I had never driven a car before but Les made me feel at ease and after a few lessons i was driving on my own. I have my test coming up in a couple of weeks and thanks to Les i am now a confident driver. Les has a great sense of humour and never puts you down (unless he has too!!) I would recommend Les to any new driver. Thanks Les!

Just Passed :) - I passed my test on Monday, first time, with only two minors (none for mirrors!). I have Les largely to thank for this achievement, his tuition is very reasonable, he is always on time, and he is an excellent teacher. Les has a great approach to teaching his lessons, and Les personal involvement with what he does is noticable in everything he does with you in the car. Very highly reccomended.

Les - Patient, Easy-going and Professional - After 7 practical tests - failed mainly due to nerves I found Les' website and contacted him for help. He picked up instantly on my mistakes and after just five 2-hour lessons I passed. Les was professional, observant and patient and helped my confidence with his easy-going manner. He had a geniune interest in my progress and was as excited as I was when I passed.

He's incredibly patient and always makes you feel comfortable, which I believe is the most important aspect of learning.He's also very professional and highly trained, so you always feel that you're in good hands. Site Review for Driving Instructor - I've had about 7/8 2 hour lessons, and now feel very confident in driving, the lessons are enjoyable but professional and every lesson, Les makes you feel very confident and you learn so much. He also has the patience of a saint. The vehicle he uses i think is an ideal car to learn in, he also keeps the vehicle spotless. Im glad i chose to Learn with Les.
