Thanks so much, Les - I have just passed my test and would highly recommend Les as a driving instructor. Learning to drive did not come naturally to me, but with Les's excellent tutition I got there in the end! Les is very conscientious, patient, a perfectionist and a true professional. Passed first time - Les was a really great instructor. Calm and no-nonsense. I passed first time with only 2 minors and I wouldn't have been able to do it without less. He's really supportive and reliable! I'm glad I chose him and I would recommend him to anyone who asked!

Passed 1st time! - Les is more than an instructor, he's motivating and supportive. Les' approach will give you strength and confidence that may well extend into other areas of your life! Les is the business - Passed first time with Les! I tried out a couple of others briefly and didn't stick with them because they didn't seem to do much teaching. Then I found Les. He's really on the ball - you learn lots, quickly. He's quite a nice chap too. Thoroughly recommend!

Your search is over! - Les is brilliant. He really cares about making you into a good driver rather than someone who can just pass the test (which you probably will - can't argue with those stats!). His patience, experience and good humour make him a natural teacher, as well as someone who can easily defuse any pre-test nerves. And a thoroughly nice bloke to cap it off :] Highly recommended!

passed for 1st time with Les! - Passed my driving test for the first time today, and wouldn't have been able to without having Les as an instructor! He is very patient and always has good tips and ways of making things easier when driving. Also very funny and I always had a laugh in his lessons! pass plus...!! - i came back to les shortly after passing my test to do my pass plus with les. it was an increadible experience driving on the motorway for the first time. i was very nervous when we set off but les showed me the way of the road and boosted my confidence within miniutes, i now feel confident and happy to drive anywer. the trip was amazing, thanks soo much les, for everything x

Pass 1st time ! - Just passed 1st time thanks to Les. A brilliant instructer who encourages you to do well and makes you feel really confident. I'm a nervous person but Les helped me calm down and i actually enjoyed the test. Will always hear Les's voice in my head when driving 'your coasting.' 100; recommend! first timer thanks to les! - thanks to les i passed first time. it only took les 4 months to make a brilliant driver out of me. he worked so hard with me and not only did i learn everything i need to know on how to b a safe, confident, good driver i enjoyed my lessons so much i didnt want them to end! i had such fun with les, i have recommended him to everyone i know, and i am deffinatly doing my pass plus with him.

The best instructor ever! - I had two instructors prior to finding Les, so I speak from experience when I say he's the best! He's calm and patient (unlike the first one I had), and he's punctual and a true professional (unlike my second). And to top it all, he's just a lovely man. I passed first time, with no problems. In fact the exam seemed easy after the intensity of Les' lessons. I thoroughly recommend!

Best driving instructor! - Les Johnson's school of motoring enabled me to pass my test within 3 months of learning to drive! Les is an amazing instructor and will teach you to become a great, safe driver. Pass Plus! - I have just done my Pass Plus with Les and I must say it was the best drive of my life! Pass Plus Complete - Having passed my test with Les I immediately booked my Pass Plus with him. It was good fun, and having been previously worried about driving on motorways Les took me through it with the quality teaching i'd become used to having had lessons with him. Wouldn't have wanted to do it with anyone else and meant i wouldnt have to see the back of the guy having done my lessons!

Smooth Pass Plus - thanks Les! - Having passed first time with Les a month before it was great to get back behind the wheel and under his watchful eye for Pass Plus. Really good to know exactly what to do in any situation on the motorway, having just got my first car and wanting to do long trips. Also great to check I'm still doing everything to Les' high standard and to catch up with the man himself - thoroughly recommended.

First time pass, thanks Les! - Firstly Les is a great teacher and is able to get you up to standard as quickly as is possible. But importantly he is also able to get people through the test, which is a skill not all instructors seem to have. I passed first time and Les knew exactly when I was ready. FIRST TIME PASS - thanks Les! - If you want to learn to drive, look no further: LES' pass rate: 80; NATIONAL pass rate: 43; Les taught me exactly what to do in any situation, and answered all my questions comprehensively. Previous instructors had no real interest in getting me through my test. Les is exactly the opposite, and is also great fun. I really couldn't recommend Les more highly.

Great Intructor - Cheers Les - Just passed after just a couple of months of teaching. Les perfectly balances a great sence of humour and a cool style of teaching with ruthless attitude to stupid mistakes and bad habits. He's my second intructor and makes my last one look like a joke. First time pass - First-time pass with Les. He knows the test routes like the back of his hand and won't let you develop any bad habits! His average pass rate is high because he won't let you take the test without thinking you are ready for it. Good sense of humour too to put you at ease if you're nervous (as you *should* be as a learner driver). Cheers Les!

Another first time pass - Got me (someone who was nervous and didn't like driving) to pass my test first time---what more can you ask for? Interesting lessons and by the time he is through drilling into your head all the little tricks you need to drive around Bristol, you'll have passed your test. A good bloke# would recommend him to anyone looking to pass a driving test, and pass well.

Truly Brilliant - I was recommended Les by a friend and after one lesson i knew he was perfect. Very patient, has an incredibly attention to detail, and doesn't miss anything! Les also has the perfect amount of professionalism, mixed in with some great humor to keep you calm whilst learning at the same time. First Time Pass - I passed first time with Les a couple of weeks ago with 4 or 5 minors. Started learning in November. Great instructor, he made what could have been a really stressful experience into something to look forwards to every week. This guy really knows what he's talking about. Probably the best instructor in Bristol. I enjoy driving and plan to do my pass-plus with him in the near future.
