Thank you Isabel & Marcus - When I first joined Chequers I was being tought by Marcus who is a really cool person and talks to u more like a friend than a pupil. After a While a being with Marcus I was passed on to Isabel as he no longer tought manual, both Isabel and Marcus are friendly, reliable intructors who are easy to get along with, I would happily recommend both of them to any1. Thank you Marcus - I have just passed my test first time in an automatic!! I have nothing but praise for my instructor, Marcus Walters. Marcus is patient and relaxed and his chatty,witty banter certainly helped me to keep calm and enjoy my lessons. He skilfully pushes you as you learn, building up your confidence at every stage. I could not have wished for a better instructor. A credit to Chequers!

Thanks due to Rob Hopkins - Have to publicly thank Rob who put up with my slightly argumentative and competitive driving until I was able to take my test. Passed first time and would highly recommend for both excellent instruction and fun lessons. In addition, haven't crashed since passing either :P Thanks again, Rob.

Recommend to anyone! - A big thank you to Jeff Sellick at Chequers! I never thought I would be able to drive but I have just passed thanks to a wonderful instructor. He put me at ease, was patient and always had faith in me! I will miss my Thursday morning lessons! Would recommend to anyone absolutely brilliant!

FANTASTIC DRIVING SCHOOL - I am so pleased that I chose Chequers and then really lucky that I was placed with Rob.I had 2 previous instrutors but found they liked the sound of thier own voice more than putting me at ease. He is kind,caring,patient and understanding.I felt really comfortable and even managed to have a good time. I will recommend Rob to anyone and everyone. HE IS FANTASTIC.Thanks Rob i'm really grateful

Rob Hopkins is epic - This man, Rob Hopkins is the best teacher ever, he really simplified things for me and so I was able to pass my driving test.

Massive Thankyou to Jeff - Passed first time today with only one minor and this is all thanks to Jeff. My previous instructor knocked my confidence by telling me i was rubbish. Jeff helped build my confidence back up & taught me everything with patience & clear instructions. Isabel - Brilliant Job :) - Isabel was my first ever driving instructor (and last) - And she is brilliant! She corrected many of my driving habits and was patient where I made mistakes and talked me through what I needed to do. Cheers Rob - I hadn't driven for 2 years and required a UK licence for a job I had just begun. After my first lesson with Rob, I found a cancellation for the test which meant I could take the test in a weeks time. Rob was very helpful, he planned lessons around my work schedule and begun lessons earlier than he usually would.
A total of 5 lessons and I passed my test first time.

Thank you Rob! - I have been learning to drive on and off since i was 17, i was first put off by a bad instructor, eventually i found chequers and they assigned Rob to me! Patience of a saint! He taught me in ten lessons what no other instructor has taught me in 30! I would recommend anyone to learn to drive through him! I never thought id pass first time but Rob made that possible!

Cheerz Geff! - Have been learning to drive for 6years on and off. Started learning was not happy with instructor. Some on one recommended chequers, helpful friendly well recommended, passed my test first time, even tho i have a disability i was very confident.

Best Choice - Best choice of driving school without a doubt. Instantly built a friendly rappor with my instructor Jeff, who helped me pass FIRST time! I really liked the fact that they were a well priced school and Jeff didn't hang around with my learning, once I could do something we moved onto the next thing, and it only took me 16 lessons to get to test standard. Have recommedned 3 friends so far!!!

Thank you... - I was so scared about learning to drive, but the moment i sat in that car i felt so relaxed. Suzanne was a brilliant instructor, she was friendly, funny and always knew how to calm me down if i felt panicked or stressed. She never got angry with me even when making the same mistake OVER AND OVER again. I have recommended this driving school to friends & family already and i will carry on doing so.

Amazing motoring school! - Went from my first lesson, to my first time passing in just 4 months, Rob has been the best instructor ever!
Always made me laugh during lessons, and never made me feel awkward on the road, even if I made silly mistakes, his light hearted comical ways of correcting them helped me get my first time pass!
Goes without saying that I'll be recommending him to everyone and anyone I can
