Mary Rouncefield is an artist who works as a printmaker and illustrator. Much of her work is inspired by mathematics. She has had work included in the 2007 Jerwood Drawing Prize exhibition and the RWA Autumn exhibition. Inspired by the simplicity and shape of everyday objects and places, I like to use three colours to accentuate line and stimulate the viewer. The use of satin paint adds to the unambiguous image, creating a painting that can be enjoyed in any living or working environment.
