Once upon a time, but not too long ago, the unexpected arrival of THE IRON MAN cast a shadow of fear across our small farm community. WOPS are a friendly Amateur Musical Theatre Society who have performed in Bristol since 1947! We produce one major production every April at The Redgrave Theatre in Clifton and will always welcome new members of any age group. Backwell Playhouse is a charming, intimate theatre in the south of Bristol, boasting a strong and talented in-house theatre company and a thriving film club, as well as a stream of visiting companies and classes, all nestled within the heart of Backwell.

The Bristol Improv Theatre produces, hosts and promotes improvised theatre and comedy in the South West UK. We are a community led collective of performance artists dedicated to making people’s lives better through the practice of improv.
