The Bristol Channel Yachting Association is comprised of clubs and organisations that have a connection with sailing in the Bristol Channel.

The most active yacht sailing club in the area. The club is based in Pill on the River Avon. The club is very friendly, and it's stated aim is to promote sailing. The club organises around 50 races a year, from two hour races around the top of the tide, to longer races down to Lundy. Most weekends in the summer, 'cruises in company' are held to visit most of the harbours and clubs around.

Founded in 1978, the Shirehampton Sailing Club is based near the mouth of the river Avon, West of Bristol. Over the years, the club has developed into a friendly club. The main activities are dinghy cruising and racing.
